Healthy Jeffco Innovation Summit: Collectively Building a Healthier Jefferson County

Jefferson County, Colorado- Healthy Jeffco, a network of over 225 partners working together to make Jefferson County a healthier place to live, learn, work and play is happy to announce and invite others to attend the September 29, 2016 Healthy Jeffco Innovation Summit from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities , 6901 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003. Community members, elected officials , local businesses and anyone interested in getting involved with meaningful  policy and system level changes designed to improve health for everyone in Jefferson County is invited to attend.   • Keynote speaker Nick Machione from Live Well San Diego
  • Updates on progress and next-steps from the Healthy Jeffco coalitions:
    • An introduction to Healthy Jeffco’s newest coalition, Jeffco Thrives.
    • Active Living Coalition
    • Food Policy Council
    • Jeffco Sips Smart
    • School Wellness Coalition
    • Health in Early Childhood Collaborative
    • Preventive Care and Behavioral Health Resources Coalition
  • Jefferson County data from compiled multiple community health surveys
  • Networking with colleagues and community members
  • Opportunities to share your own work and experiences in Jefferson County
  • Presentations on best-practices, including what has worked for other communities
  • Discussions about how to work together to expand collective impact work on social determinants of health
